Passport to the Past: A Home School day. Experience life in the early 19th century. Hands-on activities including butter churning, writing a letter with a quill pen and sealing wax, writing on slate boards, touring the Israel Crane House, and more. Pre-K Garden Discoveries: Van Vleck's Garden Discoveries classes are designed to inspire 3-to 5-year olds about the natural world. Every class examines on topic through stories, outdoor exploration, and hands on activities and specimens. Classes held twice a month from 1:15 - 2 p.m., and each class has individual registration.
